Faith + Friends + Fun

What is Awana?

Awana is a worldwide ministry focused on Bible-based evangelism and discipleship. It gives children the opportunity to know, love, and serve Jesus—no matter their background. At Centerpoint, kids study and memorize God’s Word in a joyful, encouraging environment designed to help faith take root in everyday life.

There’s a Place for Every Kid

Meet our Awana clubs

Age-appropriate groups help children learn at their level while sharing the excitement of Awana together.

Awana Sparks — grades kindergarten through 2
Kindergarten–Grade 2

Sparks

Sparks helps younger children discover the people and events of the Bible while building excitement for Scripture, friendship, and faith.

Awana Truth and Training — grades 3 through 5
Grades 3–5

Truth & Training

Truth & Training helps older elementary kids build a strong biblical foundation, memorize Scripture, ask good questions, and put faith into action.

Parents & Caring Adults

Grown-ups are part of the adventure, too.

Awana works best when church and home encourage children together. Parents and guardians can celebrate memory verses, ask about each week’s lesson, and keep the conversation going. Caring adult volunteers also make a lasting difference by helping kids feel known, welcomed, and supported.

  • Encourage a child
  • Practice a Bible verse
  • Ask about the lesson
  • Cheer on their progress

A Secure & Welcoming Environment

Your Child’s Safety Is Our Priority

At Centerpoint, the safety of every child is of utmost importance. To help provide a secure and welcoming Awana environment, we follow these safety measures:

Background checks are completed on all adult volunteers using First Advantage, a nationwide service with one of the most comprehensive databases in the industry.

On-site security is present during Awana activities.
